A free table · seeded by Solana mainnet

Every card is dealt by a block nobody at this table controls.

Drawtable shuffles a standard deck with SHA-256 of a finalized Solana blockhash and your own seed. Anyone can re-fetch that block and get the same cards. Play the tactics table for points only; nothing here is a bet.

How a fair deal works

Four steps, all in your browser except the block itself, which comes from mainnet.

  1. A block is chosen

The latest finalized slot, or one you name. Its blockhash was fixed by the network, not by us or by you.

  2. Your seed is mixed in

Seed = SHA-256 of the blockhash, your client seed and a nonce. Your wallet address is the default client seed.

  3. The deck is shuffled

Fisher–Yates over 52 cards, fed by SHA-256 in counter mode, with rejection sampling so no card is favoured.

  4. Anyone re-checks

The receipt names the slot. A verifier fetches that block again and must reach the same cards, or the draw is void.

II.

Cut a draw

Live: the block is read from Solana mainnet through our read-only relay.

Your cards land here.

III.

Verify any draw

Paste a Drawtable receipt. We fetch its block from mainnet again and replay the shuffle from scratch.

  1. Block fetched from mainnet
  2. Blockhash matches the receipt
  3. Seed recomputed
  4. Same cards, same order

Anatomy of one shuffle

Scroll to replay the real shuffle behind the cards at the top of the page: 51 Fisher–Yates swaps, each chosen by four bytes of SHA-256 output.

The tactics table

Free play, points only, nothing of value. Hands are dealt from a mainnet block like every other draw here.

Edges

Each card has four fixed edge numbers from 1 to 9, set by its rank and suit. Your five cards and the house's five come from the shuffle. Place a card on the 3×3 board. Wherever your edge is higher than the touching edge of a house card, that card turns to your colour. Most cards at the end wins.

Pair odds and the points table

Exact combinatorics for any hand size, then a simulation with the same shuffle to show the maths holds. Points are free-play scoring, not payouts.

Simulation uses SHA-256 counter-mode shuffles seeded from the latest block plus a run counter.

VII.

The dealer's shoe

Recent finalized blocks as they arrive, with the first card each would deal for the public table seed. A fresh card every block, every 20 s.

    VIII.

    Stamp a draw on mainnet

Optional. One SPL Memo transaction, signed in your own wallet, records your draw's slot, seed hash and cards. It moves no tokens; you pay only the network fee.

      Questions at the table

      Is this gambling?

No. There are no stakes, no deposits and no prizes. Points are a tally kept in your browser and have no value. Drawtable never asks you to send anything.

Why can't the site rig the cards?

The blockhash comes from Solana validators after the slot is finalized, and the shuffle is plain code in this page. Given the same slot, client seed and nonce, everyone gets the same deck. A rigged draw would fail the verifier.

Could a validator bias a blockhash?

A block producer has some influence over its own block, so do not use a single blockhash for anything with real stakes. For free play it is a fair, public, after-the-fact source, and your client seed means nobody knows the deck before you choose it.

What does the memo stamp prove?

That you published this exact draw, from that slot, no later than the slot of your memo. It costs the base network fee, usually 5,000 lamports, and moves no tokens.

What does signing my score do?

Your wallet signs a short text with your points and record. It is a message, not a transaction, and anyone can check it against your address. It proves authorship, not that the games happened.

      Is there a Drawtable token?

The site works without one. If a community coin is linked later, its contract address will appear in the header and footer; no feature depends on it.
